Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Kitchen Team Member. As a member of our kitchen staff, you will assist in food preparation, cooking, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment. Your culinary skills, attention to detail, and commitment to food safety will contribute to the success of our restaurant.
Duties:
- Prepare ingredients for cooking, including chopping vegetables, cutting meat, and gathering spices
- Assist in cooking and plating dishes according to recipes and portion sizes
- Follow proper food handling and safety procedures to ensure the quality and freshness of ingredients
- Clean and sanitize workstations, equipment, and utensils
- Assist in receiving and storing deliveries of food supplies
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow and timely service
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries and special requests
- Contribute to maintaining a positive and professional kitchen atmosphere
Skills:
- Culinary skills: Basic knowledge of cooking techniques and food preparation methods
